Sony DV Direct Burner, By P. Hecker - Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I originally purchased the StarTech SVID2USB2 USB 2.0 Video Capture Cable to transfer VHS videos of the family to the computer. It never worked (outdated driver/downloaded new driver-files corrupt) so I had to send it back. This was an expensive option BUT the product is AMAZING!! I barely scanned a couple of pages in the book. Easy hook up, hit "play" on the VCR, the video shows up on the screen, hit "record" on the burner, and away she goes. I tried the burned DVD in our DVD player, and it played flawlessly, with great sound! In the computer, it plays automatically with Windows Media Player. I LOVE THIS ITEM!! I have probably at least 70 home movies of our family to transfer but this little gem makes the task as easy as can be, and it's handy to see the video as it records. The DVD-R's I had were at least 3 years old when I first started burning them on the computer so I'm sure it's compatible with recordable disks. I haven't yet tried the camera card slots or other features but this is as hassle-free as it gets for tranferring VHS to DVD.
Amazon's service is great, I shop here as much as I can - saves me a ton of time driving from store to store and the reviews are truly invaluable. I wouldn't consider making a purchase without reading them!

Awesome performers! ddr2 cheapest 4gbkit on amazon!, January 30, 2010 By Leonardo Garcia "Saint" (Venezuela) - Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) i was having a hard time trying to build a cheap but good pc, and i came across this ram kit, i purchase this kit cause i was low on cash and this was the cheapest ddr2 4gbkit module on amazon, (also this is a 1000mhz memory kit), once i putit on my pc build i have to say they are great! just as the manufacter says it runs with no problems at timings 5-5-5-12 2T at 1000mhz and also mines seem to not need to much voltage to mantain those specs, i have them at 1.85v and no problems so far, my pc is running almost all day every day... also they look awesome and the cooler plate seems to work great!, i'm thinking to purchase another kit when i have the oportunity (money).
